Welcome to the home of “The Oh So Fly” Omicron Xi chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. We are so delighted that you have stopped by to browse the pages of our website and to learn more about what Omicron Xi does here at Rhodes College. As part of the illustrious sisterhood of Sigma Gamma Rho, we hold dear to our hearts high scholastic achievement, genuine community outreach, and the elegance that distinguishes successful young women from girls. The Omicron Xi chapter aims to create an atmosphere conducive to self elevation not only within the sorority, but also on our campus. It is here at Rhodes that the mission and aims of our Pearls resonate deeply, and we strive to find true meaning in our motto “Greater Service, Greater Progress”; for all that we do is not only in the notable name of Sigma, but also in accordance with the prestigious academic institution of Rhodes. Omicron Xi is home to dynamic young women that possess vision, charm, class, and the courage to dare to be different. The honor of unique distinction is not simply a goal. Rather, it is the tried and true mark of character of all that have entered the Sigma Sisterhood through Omicron Xi. All things we do with excellence in mind and the spirit of Sigma Gamma Rho at heart. Once again, many sincere thanks to you for visiting our website. Sigma Gamma Rho's aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and education of youth are the hallmark of the organization's programs and activities. Sigma Gamma Rho addresses concerns that impact society educationally, civically, and economically.

Upcoming Events
Every Wednesday of March & April: We Will be Tabling in the Middle Ground from 9 - 11pm EVERY Wednesday until the March of Dimes Walk takes place (4/27). Sign up to Join the Team and Walk with Us or Make a Donation to Support our Team Goal of $222! If You'd Rather Just Volunteer by Setting up or Acting as Cleanup Crew, Feel Free to do That as Well! This Will be a BIG Event, and Shelby Farms Will Need All the Volunteers They Can Get!
