From the President, Mallory Crabtree
Hey ya’ll,
I am a Senior History Major from Nashville, Tennessee. I’d like to impress upon every inquiring young woman the sincerity of our sisterhood, which has exponentially strengthened over time. Now, if you’re seeking a genuine, lifetime bond and you know that you can reciprocate that bond, I invite you to look into Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
Being a dedicated member of any organization is a commitment, but even more so for Greek organizations. The requirements one must meet and maintain are essential; that in and of itself can be demanding. However, as a soror, the requirements on you will be more pressing. With every initiate that crosses, there is one more woman depending on you, and she will one day call for your help. Whether or not you’re looking into SGRho specifically, there are some serious questions to ask yourself before jumping into NPHC Greek life; I want to encourage you to look through the “Think It Over…” page and honestly reflect.
If you’re genuinely interested in learning more about SGRho, the Omicron Xi chapter or its members, or anything that has to do with intake, feel free to contact us through our chapter email address. What’s better, why not meet with one of us directly? If you’re interested in what we and Sigma Gamma Rho have to offer by way of true sisterhood, the opportunity for growth, and community outreach, then by all means text, call, email, or shout at us across the quad. Omolola, Akosua, and I are all friendly, goofy, and pretty informal people; we’re always up for meeting new folks. If you’re wanting to talk sorority stuff, we’ll be more than happy to make a lunch date or meet up in Middle Ground.

However you go about expressing interest, do it in a secretive manner. Above ALL else, be yourself in every interaction, and we promise to reciprocate that sincerity. Genuine interactions spur genuine friendships that lead to the sisterhood we Rhos love to boast about.
